In 1965, a modified version of the original Eiermann table frame was developed in the metal workshop of the Technical University of Karlsruhe by Richard Lampert. Contrary to Eiermann’s original design, Lampert’s version was demountable and compact to store or transport and it soon became immensely popular in the german architecture scene.
We bought a big batch of these tables in a bankruptcy sale. Unfortunately, the leg extensions, that allow a quick adaptation of the desktop height, were lost in transport. We had these parts newly produced in stainless steel.
Dimensions (frame):
66cm x 95cm Height adaptable from 65cm to 84cm.
Optional top:
Option 1: Particle board 160 × 80 cm, thickness 3cm. The desktop is laminated particle board (mouse-grey) and has an opening with cover for passing cables.
Option 2: Stainless steel top. 2mm thick salvaged steel from coil ends. Cut and folded in our workshop. The tops are smooth, but they do have minor scratches and imperfections, including some 'ripples' from the rolling process.
We can ship the frame to clients in Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands. But do not ship the tops. For shipping the frames, select 'ask a custom shipping quote' upon check out.
