The silhouettes represent the 3 most frequent orders of antique Greek columns while the name refers to the practice of looting the best bits of buildings as part of the spoils of war. Typically, the contemporary salvage industry is similarly only interested in the most precious and iconic bits of buildings, leaving a lot of materials to become waste. With Halfwerk we try to find purpose also for these under appreciated materials.
