Table light produced on our vintage punching turret machine. In comparison with today’s ubiquitous lasercutting machines, punching machines have a hard time producing curved lines. Typically, one would use a small round punch and produce a curve with some rugosity, to then later sand of the irregularities. This light does the opposite; it uses a square cutting tool and deliberately composes with the rugosity of the edges.
