Wall light 'Delta' in lacquered steel (RAL 9010, used)
Batch of lights that were used on the set of a TV series. They are in very good condition, but may have small imperfections. Currently, they are mounted on a connector box that is suitable for installations where the electrical cable is hidden in the wall. But we can easily convert them to the standard set up with 1,5m cable and switch (please specify in the order).
Delta is an atmospheric light that hints at psychedelic design from the 1970ies. It diffuses a warm and intriguing light without direct exposure of the light bulb. For Halfwerk, this light is a milestone as it was our first fixture in reclaimed steel that received a new paint-job. It was originally developed for a private movie theater.
Delta is made from discarded shelves and office furniture. Its measurements are optimised so that it can be watercut from a single shelf. After cutting, the steel is first folded and sandblasted. The parts are then powdercoated. Lastly, the fixture is assembled and electrified.
