Delta is an atmospheric light that hints at psychedelic design from the 1970ies. It diffuses a warm and intriguing light without direct exposure of the light bulb. For Halfwerk, this light is a milestone as it is our first fixture in reclaimed steel that received a new paintjob.
Delta is made from discarded shelves from office furniture. Its measurements are optimised so that it can be watercut from a single shelf. After cutting, the steel is first folded and sandblasted. The parts are then powdercoated. Lastly, the fixture is assembled and electrified.

This luminaire is fabricated with parts made from reused steel. Small scratches and other imperfections are part of its charm.
